About Faith Scott:
After a 25-year career in education as an award-winning teacher and school counselor, Faith Scott entered private practice as a professional therapist. She loves working with clients of all ages, including women in life transitions who are navigating a wide range of healing journeys that lead them to liberation, empowerment, and hope. She has presented at professional conferences on grief, resilience, and empowerment. She has been a featured poet in venues across the country. Her poetry was published in an anthology entitled Shaking Off the Ashes, through Inked Elephant Publishing. She was a TEDx speaker earlier this year in Ojai, California where she likens her own journey of reclaiming the beauty and power of her cultural identity with the generational migration of the Monarch butterfly, as they both navigate through the journey of dark and the light, sorrow and joy, resilience and wonder, on the journey home. Using her family history and the call to collective humanity, she challenges us to see the possibility of transformation and reemergence, for each of us.
